Using PayMe

After you install ChecksNet 16, you and anyone else with phone or computer internet access
can send a bank draft to the ChecksNet installed on your computer by simply going to
https://www.checksnet.com/payme.htm

Setup

1. Click the icon that ChecksNet 16 installed on your desktop.

2. Click Setup

3. Click General Setup

4. Substitute the SMTP (Outgoing) Server setting, POP3 (Incoming) Server setting, User Name and Password with your own.
Example: In the photo below you would make following changes if you had a Google Gmail account,
your email address was JohnSmith@gmail.com and your password was 123456 :

smtp.gmail.com
pop.gmail.com
JohnSmith@gmal.com
123456   < Password will be hidden and appear as *******


5. Click OK button and close the ChecksNet Auto Mail Client window (click the X in upper right corner).

Sending a PayMe bank draft

1. Direct a customer, staff member, client or yourself to https://www.checksnet.com/payme.htm which looks like
.

2. Enter data in all the bank draft fields. Everything is customer data except Pay to the Order Of
which should be your Business or Person Name

3. In the Email payment to: enter same email addresss you used in Setup (such as JohnSmith@gmail.com).

4. Click SEND PAYMENT button and you should be redirected to .


Receiving a PayMe bank draft(

1. Click the icon at computer that has ChecksNet 16 installed.
Note: You MUST have internet access BEFORE using this application.

2. PayMe will automatically look for any new incoming bank drafts.
If it finds any you'll see something like this:

Example above shows receipt of 4 bank drafts.

3. Highlight the new draft by clicking on it or holding down your Ctrl key while clicking on them if more than 1

4. Click the Delete Button.

5. Close ChecksNet Auto Mail Client window (click the X in upper right corner).

Viewing, editing & printing drafts in ChecksNet

1. Open ChecksNet by clicking the icon on your desktop.

2. It will automatically find the new draft(s) and land you in the Draft Print window.
Close this window by clicking button in lower left corner.

3. You are now in the Main window of ChecksNet. In the database that appears below
the top toolbar you'll see your new draft record(s) listed in chronological order. The drafts
created by Payme do not have a date so they will ALWAYS appear at the top or bottom
of your database when you sort by date UNTIL you edit the record(s) by manually entering a date.


4. In the bottom of the main window you'll see a preview of the bank draft(s).

You can view each record by using the scrollbar to the right of the database. Every bank draft MUST
have a valid date on it.
Edit a record by clicking thes scissors button

5. Enter a date as shown. MM/DD/YYYY. You MUST use this exact format
. For January - September or 1 - 9 days you enter "0" to fill a space
so July 4, 2011 would look like 07/04/2011

6. Click at bottom of window and you are now ready to print draft(s)
